These terms are an agreement between you and Uvro Labs (“we”, “us”) about your use of the Safha app (“Safha”, “the app”). By installing or using Safha you agree to them. If you obtained Safha from Apple’s App Store or Google Play, the store’s own terms also apply, and where a store’s mandatory terms conflict with these, the store’s terms prevail for that storefront.
1. What Safha is
Safha is a document-scanning utility: it captures and imports pages, enhances them, recognizes text on your device, and produces documents such as PDFs that you can organize, export, and share. Your content is stored locally on your device — see the Safha Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
2. Your license to use Safha
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Safha on devices you own or control, for your own purposes, in accordance with these terms and the store’s rules. We (and our licensors) retain all rights in the app itself. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, reverse-engineer it except where the law permits, or use it to build a competing dataset or service.
3. Your content
Everything you scan or import with Safha is yours. We claim no ownership of, and no license to, your documents. Because your content is stored only on your device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups; if your device is lost, damaged, or reset, we have no copy to restore. Deleting the app deletes its data.
You agree to use Safha only with content you are allowed to capture and process, and not for anything unlawful — for example scanning documents to commit fraud or infringe others’ rights.
4. Recognized text and scan accuracy
Text recognition (OCR) and automatic edge detection are best-effort features that can make mistakes. Recognized text may contain errors and is not a certified transcription. Do not rely on Safha as the sole record for legal, financial, medical, or identity documents — verify important output yourself.
5. Safha Premium
- Premium features are unlocked by purchases made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Prices, billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the store under its rules; the exact price and period are always shown by the store before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and renews nothing.
- You can restore previous purchases from within the app (“Restore purchases”). Refunds are handled by the store under the store’s refund policy.
- Documents you have already created remain accessible regardless of subscription status.
6. Changes to the app
We improve Safha continuously and may add, change, or remove features over time. If a change would meaningfully reduce what a paid feature does during a period you have already paid for, we will use reasonable efforts to provide a fair alternative.
7. Disclaimers
Safha is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that every scan will be usable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uvro Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Safha. Our total liability for all claims relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Safha in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to USD 10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where the law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights are unaffected.
9. Termination
You can stop using Safha at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate this license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) survive termination.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Safha after a change means you accept the updated terms.
